Is there a delivery fee?

Yes. The delivery fee is based on where the delivery is made on Oahu and ranges from $60 to $300. Additional portage fees may apply depending on the exact delivery location, such as an upper floor of a building or a location far from the nearest drop-off point. Providing as many details as possible about your delivery location helps the team prepare with the right equipment.

How do I place an order or request a quote?

The best way to request a quote is to email sales@accelrentals.com with your name and event date in the subject line. Include your delivery address, preferred delivery and pickup times, and any other order details. You can also call an Event Rental Specialist at 808-484-2258 if you have questions before submitting your request.

What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?

Accepted Answer

Per the rental contract, the 50% confirmation deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. If you need to reschedule your event to a different date, Accel Events & Tents will do their best to move your order to the new date based on product availability.

Question 4

How far in advance do I need to reserve event rental equipment?

Accepted Answer

Equipment is reserved on a first come, first served basis. Items are secured for your event date once a 50% confirmation deposit is submitted. For high-demand items like tents, linens, and specialty or custom pieces, reserving as early as possible gives you the best chance of availability.

Do I have to be present when the rentals are delivered?

Accepted Answer

If you cannot be present, a representative must be available so the Accel driver and crew can set up properly and complete the checkout process. If no one will be available, contact an Event Rental Specialist in advance to reschedule the delivery window.

Can I extend my rental period if I need it longer?

Extensions may be possible depending on product availability. Contact an Event Rental Specialist to request an extension. Note that high-demand items may not be available for an extended rental period.

Is setup and breakdown included with the rental?

Accepted Answer

Setup and breakdown are included in the rental price for items like tents, cabanas, and dance floors. Items that do not require special tools or skills to assemble, such as tables and chairs, have an additional cost for setup service. Contact the sales team to request additional service options.

How long is the rental period?

Accepted Answer

The standard rental period is 24 hours before additional charges apply. Delivery and return times may be flexible depending on product availability. Discounted weekly and monthly rates are also available on select items.

Can I make changes to my order after it is placed?

Accepted Answer

Changes can be requested and the Accel team will do their best to accommodate them based on availability. Items added to your order sooner are more likely to be available. If custom items were procured specifically for your event, payment is still required to cover those costs.

Question 10

How much is the deposit to reserve rental equipment?

Accepted Answer

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve rental items. Your order locks one week before the delivery date, at which point items can be added but not removed. Full payment is also due at least one week prior to delivery.

What do I do if a rental item is not working properly?

Accepted Answer

Call the Accel Sales office at 808-484-2258. If you are calling outside of normal business hours, the voicemail will provide emergency contact numbers for staff who can assist you after hours.

Can I pick up and return rental equipment myself to avoid the delivery fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Will Call orders are available and the team will assist with loading and unloading items at the warehouse. Picking up yourself saves on both delivery and portage fees.

Question 13

Will I get a refund if I do not use some of the equipment I reserved?

Accepted Answer

No. Once items are reserved with a confirmation deposit, they are removed from inventory and unavailable to other customers. Rentals are charged based on the reservation of the product, not actual use on the event date.

Question 14

What happens if I damage a piece of rental equipment?

Accepted Answer

Call the Accel Sales office at 808-484-2258 right away. Do not attempt to repair damaged equipment yourself. If significant damage occurred while the item was in your possession, repair or replacement fees may apply. The team will do their best to replace the item before your event if warranted.
